Does IntelliProve work on all skin tones? What about different makeup?Updated a year ago

At IntelliProve, ensuring the effectiveness of our product for the entire population is a top priority. Through frequent training and testing of the model with subjects of different skin tones (and wearing makeup), there is currently no observed reduced performance in people with darker skin tones or certain types of makeup.

To illustrate, the graph below shows the margin of error of heart rate (which is a direct derivative of signal quality) as a function of skin color. The smaller this margin of error, the greater the signal quality. For each group, this margin of error remains well below the threshold of 5 bpm (=clinical acceptability criteria).
